Hi, I’m Nora,
designer and founder of Native Why.
Since the early days of the web, I have been designing brand experiences that improve the customer journey and drive engagement.
With degrees in Communication Design (BFA) and Business (MBA), and over two decades of experience in digital, branding and user centered design, I help organizations plan and evolve communication, products, and the experiences they deliver.
I believe in innovation through experimentation and validation, and in collaboration within multidisciplinary teams—including clients and customers. My process begins with understanding the business model, the brand, and the customer.
As a consultant, I have worked with technology companies, agencies, and directly with clients, often setting up and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Clients have included Weleda AG, Talentformation, freiheit.com technologies, Grabarz & Partner, Interone, Jung von Matt, Kolle Rebbe (now Accenture Song), Liquid Campaign (now Serviceplan), Philipp & Keuntje.
Brands in Europe and the USA I have worked with include BMW, Breuninger, Dreamworks Animation, Chefkoch, freiheit.com technologies, Guggenheim Museums, Hard Rock Cafés, Manufactum, METRO, MINI, Molecular Health, NBC, Peek & Cloppenburg, Pottery Barn, Stiftung Rechnen, Tchibo, Volkswagen and Williams-Sonoma and Weleda.
Having lived and worked in diverse cities around the world—including Singapore, Tehran, Dubai, Nice, Casablanca, Milan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and now Hamburg—I embrace the cultural richness of the global environments in which brands operate.
Grøtting Design has evolved into Native Why.
